Reclaimed Antique Wide Plank Flooring

Baltimore Floor Works offers antique wood flooring in a variety of woods. Our reclaimed antique wide plank flooring is truly a "green" product that qualifies for points towards LEED building certification. This hardwood flooring is produced from wood which has been reclaimed from older buildings that have been dismantled. The wood flooring produced from this resource provides a unique patina and character that only years of use can provide. The lumber and timbers reclaimed to make our antique hardwood flooring are not readily found and cannot be duplicated in today’s forest. The slower growth patterns of wood reclaimed from prior use adds to its distinctive look. Antique flooring is offered in remilled and distressed grades, with the distressed grade having more character markings and color variation. If you’re looking for a traditional look with a touch of history, we’re sure you can find it in our antique flooring.

Rare and beautiful, our Chestnut flooring is re-milled from carefully dismantled barns, mills, and farmhouses. Available in solid ¾” planking which has been kiln-dried, tonque & grooved, back-relieved, with pre-squared ends.

Antique White Pine
Typically found in the past as wide plank flooring in New England homes, White Pine was the prominent timber specie used in construction in New England in early American times. Tall and straight, White Pine was prized for ship masts by the British Navy during colonial times. Our Antique White Pine is re-milled from dismantled mills, barns, sheds, and occasional old homes. Available in solid ¾” planking which has been kiln-dried, tongue & grooved, back-relieved, with pre-squared ends.

Antique Heart Pine
Consisting of the Southern Yellow Pine of past centuries which grew slowly creating a tight, dense wood that can not be duplicated in today’s forest. These trees of past years provided the structural timbers needed to build the factories and warehouses of early industrial America. Reclaimed from dismantled factories, our Antique Heart Pine is available in solid ¾” planking which has been kiln-dried tongue & grooved, back-relieved, with pre-squared ends.
