| Unfinished Hard Wood Flooring
We offer Unfinished hardwood flooring in a variety of domestic species including: American Cherry, American Walnut, Ash, Hickory, Hard Maple, Pine, Heart Pine, Red Oak, and Red Oak. These species are available in various grades. The popular grades of wood are: clear, select, #1 common, #2 common. We also offer cabin and rustic grades.

A variety of widths are available ranging from 1 1/2" to 8". Special long length boards are also available. Exotic species are also available. These species include: Brazilian Cherry, Cumaru, Tigerwood, and Santos Mahogany. These species are also available in a variety of widths.

Exotic wood species offer deep rich colors and interesting wood grains. These woods will add character to your home and many are more tolerant to denting and normal wear then some domestic wood species.

 

The Janka Hardness Test is the industry standard for testing wood hardness. The higher a wood is rated the harder that wood is. The exotic woods listed below are rated between 1912 and 3540.  In comparison, Northern red oak is rated at 1290.
| Brazilian Cherry
Brazilian Cherry has a cherry red brown color that changes to a beautiful deep red when exposed to light. The deep red color enhances the natural grain of the wood. Brazilian Cherry has a Janka hardness rating of 2820.
| Cumaru
Cumaru (Brazilian Teak) has a grain variation that ranges from tan to dark reddish brown. This wood is not affected by light exposure. Cumaru has a Janka hardness rating of 3540.
| Tigerwood
Tigerwood has a wide range of coloring from orange to tan accented with dark stripes. Sunlight will change the background to a reddish brown. Tiger wood has a Janka hardness rating of 2160.
| Santos Mahogany
Santos Mahogany has a color range between reddish brown and deep red. Its color is not affected by light exposure. Santos Mahogany has a Janka hardness rating of 2220.
